Process

Whether renovating or furnishing, I will bring a decade of design experience to your project. My process looks a little something like this:

Conceive it.

Good design comes from good ideas. We will co-develop a vision for your home through discussion, sketching, and visioning. We will also determine the scope of your project - whether you’re renovating the kitchen or the whole house or furnishing the downstairs. We’ll also determine which consultants/contractors are necessary to make the project happen and when to use their services.

Draw it.

Next, I ensure all project documentation is developed in a careful and coordinated manner that accurately captures your vision. This step is key to accurately estimating the cost of the project and ensuring any construction work reflects the design we developed.

Build it.

With the appropriate drawing documentation and city approvals, construction begins. I oversee the construction to ensure that the project is built according to the design documents.

Furnish it.

We will work together to find the perfect furniture, finishes, and objects to actualize the project’s design intent. We will use a process of concept development, furniture plans, material boards, item specification, and installation.
